Technology Open Labs are scheduled twice a week. Tuesdays 2:00 - 4:30pm in the Computer Commons, E132, and Thursdays 8:30 - 10:30am in Q130. Feel free to drop by with your technology questions regarding Canvas, FMS, SIS, HCM, and more. Individual time may be limited depending on attendance.

Tech Tips

Do you want to set up a meeting with someone from another state/country, and not sure what time zone they’re in? Google to the rescue. The easiest way to do this is to type, What time is it in London? in the search box. This shows you the time difference between your time right now, and the remote location. A quicker way to check the right remote meeting time is to ask Google to do the conversion for you, for example: convert 5:30am to New York.

Canvas Corner

Did you know there is a course link validator tool in Canvas which will verify that all links are working throughout a course? The course link validator tool searches through course content and returns invalid or unresponsive external links in both published and unpublished content. The link validator also includes deleted links. Deleted links are links that are still in the course, but their linked content has been deleted (such as course files or pages). Please click here for additional information.
